Taxis are easy to book in Rotterdam, with Uber and Bolt both widely available across the city. You can request rides directly through the apps for quick, cashless service with fare estimates and live tracking.

 Traditional taxis can also be booked through local companies such as Rotterdamse Taxi Centrale (+31 10 462 6060) or found at taxi ranks near major transport hubs like Rotterdam Central Station and the airport. Advance booking is recommended during busy periods or for airport transfers.

June in Rotterdam is typically warm and pleasant, with average daytime temperatures around 20 to 23°C and mild evenings of about 12 to 15°C. Rain showers can still occur, so bringing a light waterproof jacket or umbrella is advisable. Light, breathable clothing is recommended for the daytime, along with an extra layer for cooler mornings and evenings.

The currency in Rotterdam is the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops, and contactless or mobile payments are common. It’s still useful to carry some cash for small purchases, local markets, or places that may not accept cards.
